Men should never ignore these 5 symptoms

Men are more prone to neglect symptoms, skip tests, and receive daily medical care. Well, occasionally an itch and a hurting muscle are just that—symptoms—but if they continue, you should consult a doctor. It can be a sign of something more serious. Let’s examine the 5 signs that men should never overlook and for which they should seek emergency medical attention.

Shortness of breath
It’s time to consult the doctor if you experience breathing difficulties while going about your daily business. Though problems and symptoms vary from one body to another, you shouldn’t take it lightly any longer. Symptoms like weariness and shortness of breath should be handled seriously. For instance, shortness of breath immediately following a brief walk may indicate cardiac ischemia.

Dizziness
You may feel lightheaded, unsteady on your feet, or as though the room is whirling all around you when you are dizzy. It happens when the brain doesn’t get enough blood. Dehydration or a sharp drop in blood pressure could cause this. It is common for health issues like the flu, allergies, or hyperglycemia to be accompanied by dizziness. Additionally, it might point to a serious issue like heart disease, a stroke, or shock.

Excessive snoring
Is your own snoring waking you up or your partner up at night? That could be a sign of obstructed sleep apnea syndrome. This disease can wake the snorer and interrupt their breathing. It may lead to problems like daytime fatigue and greater risk like high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, heart attack and stroke. If sleeping on your side or stomach does not help then its time to book an appointment with your doctor.

Frequent heartburn
Occasional heartburn is not a crisis but anyone having problems at least twice a week may have gastro – esophageal reflex disease or Gerd which can cause inflammation, bleeding, ulcers of the esophagus and may lead to cancer and precancerous conditions.

Excessive thirst
Staying hydrated is good for you but constant thirst may indicate a health problem. It is one symptom of diabetes, the metabolic disease in which raises blood sugar induces thirst so you drink enough water to eliminate excessive glucose. If you have a family history of diabetes you should have you blood sugar checked. Excessive thirst may also be a symptom of internal bleeding, infection or organ.
