IFTTT Facebook Applet lost trigger connections

Many of us who use Facebook services were hit with error connections when Facebook Applet trigger connections from IFTTT were denied for almost a week. The recommendation from IFTTT suggests you try to go to "Your Account" > "My Services" > "Choose Facebook Page" and "Remove or reconnect service." Assuming IFTTT has lost access to Facebook services, neither removing your account nor reconnecting your account is going to be a solution because the base IFTTT service is discontinued at the moment.

Errors you are going to see
"Action failure message. There was a problem running the action."

"App not active: This app is not currently accessible and the app developer is aware of the issue. You will be able to log in when the app is reactivated."

Until then, you will have to wait until IFTTT resolves the issue with Facebook. Also starting May 23,2023, there will only be two applets available for Free users to use. They won’t be able to access Twitter accounts or use Twitter Applets. To avoid interruptions and keep using your current Applets, try the Pro.
